▶ is autimatically changed into emoji

Why does :arrow_forward: automatically become emoji, and is printed into the result?
I looked into autocorrect function, and there’s no :arrow_forward: in the list.

Edit: Sorry for lack of detail.
The OS is Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon 64bit, and

And Opened format is PDF, and saved format is ODG. Both of them do this. Making professional, Clean B&W triangle into guffy colored icon.

When the character that comes after triangle is English/Symbols, It happens. When is oter language, it doesn’t.

Please give us more details.

This is a bug. See tdf#150398.

PS: when asking here, always mention OS name, exact LO version (not "latest’) and save format. In the present case, this is important because it is related to the way LO interacts with the OS font engine.

I installed Emojione font which does not render in colour in my installation. It seems to prevent the other colour emoji fonts, like Segoe Emoji, from being substituted into the text so I get B&W emojis. You could try selecting the emoji and applying DejaVu Sans font
