-0- No automatic version history/backups by LibO, except -1-.
-1- If your setting under ‘Tools’ > ‘Options’ > ‘Load/Save’ >‘Save’ have enabled ‘Always create a backup copy’
you will find your documents edited by LibO in the last previous state in the backup folder of your user profile (default) or in the folder you chose for this pupose under …> ‘LibreOffice’ > '‘Paths’. The file there will have replaced the standard extension by .bak
.
-2- There is free software which is able within limits to recover deleted files as long as their space on the storage medium was not overwritten (Recuva may be an option.)
Avoid any unnecessary changes to your file system in advance of trying a recovery! No saves so long.
-3- For future use there is an extension for LibO to create a timestamped series of backup cpoies elsewhere. I personally don’t use it and cannot judge therefore.
