Is there a way to bribe (oops, I mean sponsor) LO developers to add new features?

There are a few features that I would really like to have added to LO Writer, all of which I believe have been requested by at least one other user in the past, and I’d even be willing to bribe/sponsor/pay an official developer to implement them. Is there any way I can go about doing this? Some of the features I have in mind:

• Optical margin alignment
• The ability to export to PDF/X formats
• Improved hyphenation (I can go into more detail about this later)

Have you looked at Professional Support | LibreOffice - Free and private office suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft ?

Normally, I would suggest enhancement requests, How to Report Bugs in LibreOffice - The Document Foundation Wiki but for the large changes it would require considerable effort. For pdf/x support I think that colour management would be needed too. There have been a number of changes to hyphenation recently as documented in the release notes, e.g. ReleaseNotes/25.8 - The Document Foundation Wiki

Have you considered Scribus? That has colour management and I think that it can export to pdf/x

Yes they can. I’m using the feature.
.
I found a thread for manual conversion, but I don’t think this will suffice to use it often.

But there is also mentioned to use ghostscript

It may be a realistic option to create an extension to use ghostscript. But one will always need additional configuration like an ICC-profile fitting the output device. All embedded Images will need to have a profile or be sRGB. …

Yeah, I’ve tried Scribus on a number of occasions and have been kind of unimpressed with the results. If you import an .odt from LibreOffice Writer into Scribus, it completely messes up the formatting, or at least enough to make me want to find another way to export to PDF/X.
