I have a Calc document that is a list. Every column has its own format and all cells in that column should always be that format. I’m looking for a functionality similar to tables in Google Sheets, where each cell in the column has the same format, even rows that are created should take on that format. Can it be done in Libreoffice Calc?
Use the Cell Styles instead of the manual (direct) formatting method…
Thanks for writing! Can you explain a little bit more how that can help? As of what I can see I still have to apply the cell style to the right cell in for example a newly created row.
When you insert a new row (above or below of the actual row inside the used cellrange) the new rows will inherit the Cell Styles of the upper or lower cells.
Never paste data together the formatting properties from a foreign source. Use the Paste Special - Unformatted text option.
