Every time I update LO, it uninstalls the old LO and re-installs the new LO. That’s fine except I have to start all over with a new spell check list, there is not a Wordbook until I do a “first” spell check.
Also, on a side issue, I have to redo all of my Toolbars because they aren’t saved anywhere.
Well… that is not expected to be, and should not be that way. It is designed to keep your data (words and toolbars among them) in your user profile, which should be unaffected by removal or reinstalling of the program (in a different directory). A newer version should look for the profile on the same path, and find and use it successfully.
Maybe you are using a kind of “portable” installation (on whatever platform), and have your profile inside program directory?
The path to the wordbook is: C:\Users\Luke…\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user\wordbook
