Is there any way I can set a default format everytime I open LibreWriter?

I am college student and use LibreWriter a lot. I wanted to ask if there was anyway that I can have a default format set so that everytime I open LibreWriter, its configured to MLA Format automatically?

Templates and Styles.

Be careful what you ask for. You already got the answer how to set a default template, wich is used to create new files.
.
However, if you use Windows for example you may create “New” Writer file from context menu in Explorer. Here LibreOffice is not asked, and there is used some template registered during first installation used by explorer.
.
If you start LibreOffice by double-click on another template, this will be used, instead of the default.
.
And luckily LibreOffice will NOT use your default template on everything older/having own template (so you can continue doing/reading other documents instead of replacing every documents informations with your settings).

Set up the page the way you want it with page style, paragraph styles, character styles, etc.

Then, go to File>Templates>Save as Template…

In the dialog, give the template a name and choose a category such as My Templates. Check the box that says “Set as default template”. Click Save.

The next time you open a new Text Document, you should see what you want.
