Is there something like IMPORTRANGE in Calc?

Hi, all. Thanks in advance for (and to) anybody that can help or give pointers… I’m running LO 7.4.7.2 (x64) on a Lenovo laptop with Windows 11.

Is there something like the IMPORTRANGE function from Google Sheets in Calc?

Here’s what I’m trying to do: (If there’s a better or easier method, please tell me.)

I have Calc spreadsheet A in Folder X containing 5 sheets - 1 to 5. I also have Calc spreadsheet B in Folder Y containing 3 sheets -1 to 3. I need to put a live, dynamic copy of a sheet from Calc spreadsheet A into Calc spreadsheet B. It is extremely important that the copied sheet from Calc spreadsheet A (pasted into Calc spreadsheet B) change as its “source” sheet in Calc spreadsheet A changes. I update one of the sheets in Calc spreadsheet A each week, and I need to access, copy and manipulate the data in the copied sheet (pasted into Calc spreadsheet B) using formulas in the other sheets in Calc spreadsheet B.

I’m sorry that my description is a bit difficult to understand, but I tried to explain everything as simply as possible. Workarounds can be used, too. (For example, I can migrate everything over to Base, if needed.)

Thanks again to anybody that can help.

5 different methods to link spreadsheets. Some of the 5 apply to other file types (html, databases, text). All 5 can be used with Calc spreadsheets: [Tutorial] External Links In Calc.
