Language/number format question

Hi there
My default language on LibreOffice is set to English (UK) due to the date format.
However, I have data that I need to import into Calc, which has a comma for the decimal sign. The UK English setting does not recognise that as a decimal indicator.
Is there perhaps a way to get around this?
At the moment I manually change all the data I copied to replace the comma (,) with a full-stop (.) in order for the calculations to work correctly.

What kind of data?

First select main locale for your data (Language field) to pick the correct decimal separator, and then set date format for each column which may contain dates (column type field) in the import dialog.

Thank you! I got it to work by choosing Australian English as the input language.
