I have a calc sheet on which I have loaded a picture. I have protected the sheet in the macro during activation of the sheet but I wish to be able to resize and move the picture around the sheet without having to unprotect the sheet, much as you can leave certain cells unprotected to be able to edit them. Is there a way in which I can do this in my macro or in the formatting of the sheet?
Please upload an ODF type sample file with an embedded sample image.
Thankyou for the response. I have attached a file to demonstrate what I would like to do. The “Welcome” sheet is loaded with information from the “Position Assignment” sheet. When the “Welcome” sheet is activated I would like to protect the list of players from being altered (either accidentally or on purpose) while leaving the picture or other graphics unprotected so that they may be resized and or moved around as the case may be. There may be one picture as in this example or several depending upon the event and circumstances. So we’d want to be able to change the graphics and then manipulate them without having to unprotect the entire sheet.
I hope this explanation is clear and I look forward to your response.
With thanks,
Jack Trueman aka OldJack.

tdf#144292 - you currently can’t even change objects anchored to explicitly unprotected cells.
And separately, the “only allow changing graphics” would be an own missing feature.
