Just like any other application, LibreOffice can not really work with foreign file formats. It can import foreign file formats to a certain extend and it can export foreign file formats to a certain extend. This way you can re-use foreign file formats, work with them in the application’s native format and – if absolutely inevitable for some technical reason – you can export your work from native file format to some foreign file format. Same as with MS Excel or any other application, media editor, desktop publisher, image manipulation program producing native file formats. You can import jpeg, mp4, doc, xls or whatever, save in native file format, edit the stuff with all availlable application features and send out the result as jpeg, mp4, pdf.
Anyway. Let’s try some alternative approach:
Create a new directory.
Copy some of your pictures into that directory.
Download the attached database document to the same directory.
Open the document and the contained input form “New Event”.
Enter or paste some description text, double click the pickture box and add one of your pictures in the same directory.
Click [OK] and add the next one and the next.
Open the other form “Existing Data”, navigate through the existing records and edit them.
In the main database window go to the reports section and open the report.
DID I forget to upload the database? Yes, I did. Writing the description took me more time than working out that document.
