Also downloaded most updated version and still does this. Also is doing on open office version. Too weird . I hope someone has help.

Example document, ideally; even a screenshot? What are you doing when it scrolls? OS (and version), LO version?

Success. I read elsewhere that changing battery AND unplugging mouse is key. This worked. Thanks for your help. Michael
Not sure what detail to share. I open the app. If I place my cursor on the app it moves rapidly to the right. If I pull cursor off it does not move, A screen shot would not let you see this movement. Version is latest. Just downloaded hoping this would help but did not.
Also I have tried using Open Office and Excel and am having the same issue with them so I am wondering if some malware somehow got on my computer. I have an iMac running Big Sur.

If simply hovering over the open app (and also OOo and Excel) exhibits this behavior, I suspect a hardware problem.
Have you tried with another mouse? When my wireless mouse’s batteries are low it exhibits very similar problems.

Well that was hopeful but to no avail. Changed batteries and tried another mouse and neither worked. Interestingly libreoffice moves very rapidly where OpenOffice and excel move very slowly but all have the same issue. All started today
