libre office draw to edit pdf

Hello,
I am using LibreOffice Draw to edit PDF files, but all sentences appear as individual text boxes instead of continuous text. I would like the text to be imported as full sentences or paragraphs, not split into multiple separate text frames.

Is there a setting or feature that allows PDF text to be imported as a single editable text flow?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Select the text boxes that you want to merge and, in the menu, click Shape > Consolidate text

I cannot click consolidate text it doesn’t open
I have a lot pages so I need an automatic option
Like adobe pro dc but it is expensive

LibreOffice is not an PDF editor

Some OCR programs will do that too

You could instead

  1. open the PDF in Adobe Reader, select all, copy and paste into Writer as unformatted text.
  2. Select everything in Writer and apply Body text paragraph style
  3. Apply Heading n styles using the PDF as a guide
  4. You might find that there are many line breaks in the middle of sentences. To replace them with spaces, please see this answer, How to paste deleting the lines - #3 by EarnestAl
