Current version is installed, but suddenly today it won’t open and I cannot access any of my .ods documents.
Anybody have a fix for this? I downloaded and installed a fresh version with no better luck.
Maybe there is some background process trying to restore a file, causing it to lock up. Any LibreOffice program showing up in task manager with high CPU usage? If so then stop that one and see if it starts.
If that doesn’t work try safe mode and resetting: LO-Help

How do you try to access your .ods? There are several methods, like
- double click icon in File Explorer
- double click thumbnail in LibreOffice’s right recent document pane
- using
File -> Open
and the only one which really is a problen, if File -> Open method doesn’t work.
Probably, it is your anti-virus program blocking. You will need to add soffice.bin to the Whiltelist or Allowed Programs in your antivirus. Look in Settings for something similar to those names, you might need to look under anti-ransomware to find the settings.
