I’m new to this site so please forgive my ignorance. I’m looking for help on how to get Libre Office downloaded online to open and recognize documents that I created on another Mac. The icon is in my applications menu but won’t open. I redownloaded and it will open some but not most recent files. Thank you for any ideas and resources to fix this.
This contradicts your initial query in the topic, so let’s get things clear:
- You can start/open/run LibreOffice on your Computer? (For example to create and save a new file.)
- Can you access/open the newly created file then?
After the stuff above is verified, you have LibreOffice running on your OS.
- Anything different for your mentioned “most recent files”, besides date? Were they created with LO, or maybe numbers.
- Do you see the files on your computer? Have you verified you can open them as a .zip file? (I remember a guy who synced files, but the contents were not really on his disk…)
- Is LO allowed to read from the Location? (Compare older posts on “full disk access”)
