What is your goal (typographically; don’t try to describe a “solution”)? What are the texts on “both sides”? How are they related? Should this relation be preserved, no matter what edits you make?
“2 column” ??? Newspaper style, where text continues in next column after reaching bottom of page? Some other layout, like a table?
And don’t forget to mention OS name, exact LO version, save format and your skill with styles.
