Libre writer 7.1 Error: request needs elevation. how do i fix this

I have pc with windows 10 . libre 7.1.0.3 my libre writer crashed, opened it in safe mode tried to fix but when i tried to open a saved documenrt. it gave me a screen that said
this request needs an elevation
what does that mean, and how can i fix this

thank you it looks complicated but i’ll give it a whirl. i had tried to update software for libre office thought the problem was solved. But i just lost my word document again, after redoing it again. so i will try and follow this thanks so much.
