LibreOffice 26.2.3.2 for Mac crashing

I am having a problem with the last version and the current version of LibreOffice 26.2.3.2 for Mac crashing. My Mac is running Tahoe 26.3.1 and the version of Libraoffice is;
Version: 26.2.3.2 (X86_64)
Build: 70e089b17412e4cb7773e4141…
Environment: CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 26.3.1
User Interface: UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: osx
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Misc: Calc: threaded

Is there a switch I need to set in the preferences? or do I need to wait for another update to resolve this issue. At this point I am not loosing data but it is concerning with the constant crashing.

The error message states:
Due to an error, LibreOffice crashed. All the files you were working on will now be saved. The next time LibreOffice is launched, your files will be recovered automatically.

Thank You Tom

If I am in the wrong place to get help please direct me to a place where I can get help.
The crashing is getting to be real annoying. Trying to navigate for help is a nightmare.
Sad to say if I can’t get help, well.

What is the LibraOffice? Is it a special version of the LibreOffice for Mac? (I never used Mac.)

there are usually 2 versions of a program due to operating systems, Mac or windows. there ore others as with lenix OS. When downloading I have to chose for mac that is all. But the last two upgrades I have had the program constantly crashing on me. And trying to get help is just as frustrating. In my first post I gave all the system information and you have been the only one to answer. Now I know I can not be the only one with this problem or am I. If I am what am I doing wrong? any help would be most helpful.

Try a clean reinstall instead of the upgrade: delete the User Profile after the uninstall. An upgrade will use the previous (the existing) user profile.

And you can try delete the profile without reinstalling. The LO will create a new profile after a restart of the LO (or the computer).

I completely deleted Libra office from my computer.
I then reinstalled the program.
I used the tab 26.2.4 MACOS (APPLE SILICON)
Then I went to Preferences and clicked the reset tab / apply / then ok.
I now closed out of the program and then opened it up again.
Now I will wait and see or did I miss something

Did not work the program still crashes.
Thank you for trying to help {Zizi64} I do appreciated it.

The name is: Libr(E)Office LibreOffice

So by the responses I have received, I am the only one with this problem.
Also I had one response, which I am thankful for, but it didn’t resolve the issue.
And I am sorry for the Libraoffice when it is LibreOffice.
But my further action will be to no longer use this program till a new update comes with a fix for my constantly crashing program. Again thank you Zizi64 for trying to help.

Try to use an another operating system… My LO versions crashe very, very rarely on Windows.

Zizi64 that is not going to happen.
I have a Mac using a Apple operating system.
I am not going to buy a software program just to run windows to run LibreOffice.
Crashing is a problem with programming.
Two versions ago is when it stared to happen.
So what ever the programers did to improve the program they created a bug.
Crashing as a norm is not an option for me.
But again thank you for trying to help

You can try a free live Linux - if it can run on your computer… (live Linux: It not needed to install it. Just boot it from CD/DVD or from a thumb drive… The Linux Live media contains the LO by default.)

Maybe there is something on your computer getting the crash.
Test with Menu>Help>Restart in Safe Mode.
or play with Skia options:
Menu>Edit>Preferences>LibreOffice>View
