On a fresh (re)install of Libreoffice 26.2.3.2 Impress, Insert Chart is generating a pop-up error message “General OLE Error”.
On Writer, it fails with no error message or any apparent changes.
On Calc, the Object tab (in tabbed view) appears but without a table. It appears to be adding something though, as ctrl+z takes an extra step to undo the last change.

Thanks to @Hrbrgr for the link, I followed the first steps to submitting a bug report and discovered my user profile was corrupted after updating multiple times (I could make charts in safe mode, but not in normal mode). I was able to resolve the error by entering safe mode and resetting the profile.
