Libreoffice automatically changing image size?

Hey people.

When pasting a copied image into writer, writer automatically resizes the image, making it slightly larger.

The image is already the size I want… is there a way to prevent LO from automatically resizing it?

It’s strange; now LO doesn’t seem to be rescaling the image when using the same method as I was previously using (cut and pasting the image from a .PNG image file) therefore there is no difference in result between inserting images this way or via Insert > Image > (select image you want to use) > Enter , as advised on the “question and answer” thread you posted.
