LibreOffice closes/crashes itself for no reason

New to the forum and I used LibreOffice since it’s free and it’s nicely interesting.

So, I have a problem with the program, something when I want to write like I plan a physical book, but for some reason, the issue I have here is that it closes itself during my time on writing. If I minimize it and keep it for too long, no crash will happen, but if I un-minimize it, I have like 20 or 60 seconds to use LibreOffice before it closes itself. Although, Draw doesn’t close itself so it is Writer that closes itself.

Now, I did looked up some solution for this and what I have to do is to disable the Skia option ("Use Skia for all rendering), but this option seemed greyed out even in safe mode as well. Maybe if a solution didn’t work, it could be a bug that needs to be fixed.

So, I enabled “Force Skia software rendering”, but it didn’t solve the crash after another 20 or 60 seconds every time it happens. Anybody knows why and how to fix this?

LibreOffice info:

Does it crash in safe mode? Click Help - Restart in safe mode - Continue in safe mode and test.

If it doesn’t crash then reset the user profile. Read this page carefully and backup the profile using one of the methods before resetting, LibreOffice user profile - The Document Foundation Wiki
.
If it still crashes in safe mode, try reinstalling LibreOffice.

What cpu does your computer have?

I have reinstalled LibreOffice. I just found out why it crashes out.

I was going to be able to install LanguageTool for my grammar-checking, but I forgot to install Java first before doing so, so I uninstalled an unfinished LanguageTool and then completely installing it again. Probably a conflict that might not be fixed, so that’s my guess. Do you think this happened to anyone or is this just me?

My CPU is 12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-12700H 2.30 GHz.

Intel CPU should be fine.

Do you need to install Language Tool? Can’t you just enable it from Options?

It was already enabled in the option. But what if the crash happens again if I install it again?

If language tool is already enabled then why do you want to install over the top of the built-in version?

What I mean is that after reinstalling LibreOffice, will the crash happen again if I try to reinstall LanguageTool again?
