Lots of problems.
When I re-started LO Writer 26.2.0.3 in Windows 11, and opened the file I had been editing earlier today (a .docx file), it opened but had a "Missing hyphenation data Please install the hyphenation package for locale “en-US” " warning above the page area. There is a “Learn More” link, which opened a browser page labeled “Language/Support” in wiki.documentfoundation.org/Language/Support. Unfortunately, the advice was to do a Linux install command (apt install hyphen-en-us) which probably wouldn’t work in W11. So I closed the support link.
When I hit that “Learn more” link, the warning disappeared, but the first two times this happened, the little globe icon with the blue down arrow (top right of the Writer screen) lit up that I could download the missing hyphenations by hitting it. Instead it crashed Writer, and brought up a popup that said it would send a crash report to LO, and restart Writer. I sent the crash report, but it wouldn’t restart.
So I tried again. This was the second of the two times it did this, so I tried to open a Bug report from your help page. It sent me to Bugzilla, but Bugzilla did not accept my email (saying it didn’t have either a @ or a period after the @. Of course it did,
So now I’m trying to report this weirdness this way.
This is the third try, and it gave the “hyphenation” warning, but not the flashing globe icon, so I tried the globe anyway and I get a “Checking for updates” failure, with this message:
Error reading data from the Internet.
Server error message:

What’s to be done?
