Thank you for your explanation and suggestion. To be honest, I have always used the ‘columns’ method I used for this and other files. I shall certainly try to use ‘tables’, though, and see how it works.
When someone looks at this file I created, the norm would not be to read through the first column and proceed immediately to the top of the second column, but instead one would look first at each separate column (representing a division of an organ) and then examine any, in any order, to read through that particular section. This is more of a reference of separate sections, rather than a story which, I admit, one would read through each column, top to bottom, before proceeding to the next column.
In any case, I thank you for your help and explanation and shall certainly have a look at ‘Table/Insert Table’, and probably try it for the next such file I create.
