LibreOffice file size limit in Chromebook

I have installed LibreOffice sucessfully in my Lenovo Chromebook with 2GB RAM. I am trying to work with a file that is 10 MB size. The file has 8 sheets that are heavy because some of them have more than 10k rows. LibreOffice Calc freezes and close, but the Chromebook stay working normally. So I can not open the 10 MB file size.

Any idea how to make it work? Thanks.

Install more memory to your notebook

Or add swap space (no idea if that’s possible on a Chromebook).

Also note that the 10MB file size is the compressed sized of the document content, so not directly a measurement of the actual content or how much memory a consuming program would need.

However, 2GB RAM sounds very little.
