The version of LibreOffice that is available on the macOS App Store (25.8.6.2) will not open documents using either the Start Center or the Recents menu tab, I get an “Access Denied” error. I can open a file through Finder, the Open menu, or drag and drop onto LibreOffice with no issues. I have enabled Full Disk Access in macOS with no change.
I know the direct download version does not have this issue, but I’m not a power user and I don’t want to manually install updates to stay relatively, I prefer the App Store version for this.
Please let me know how I can fix this issue, or if it is a known issue, when it will be fixed.
