Dear community,
I have recently started to use LibreOffice Impress for teaching purposes in academia and first of all, I want to say how grateful I am for such a professional and useful project.
I started to use LibreOffice as I try to make a switch to Linux (Fedora KDE) and previously, I used Microsoft PowerPoint. With my previous PowerPoint experience, there are two features concerning presentations which I am not able to figure out in LibreOffice Impress or which might not (yet) exist:
-
Draw in presenter panel: I would like to be able to look at the presenter panel on the screen of my notebook (which includes all my notes on the presentation) and be able to draw on the slide embedded in the presenter panel. This would be quite useful, as the regular slide is shown on the projector and I cannot use my digital pen to draw.
-
Switch to showing regular slides on two monitors in the presenter panel: If feature 1) is not (yet) available, it would be nice to have an easy way to show the regular slide show on the notebook screen as well as on the projector. I know that I can do so by changing the presentation options, but having this option within the presenter panel would be convenient, because then one could switch between showing the presentation notes and the presentation itself (with the ability to draw) on the notebook screen.
If anyone could tell me, if this is already possible, that would be great. If the two features are not yet available, it would be nice to hear if others would regard them as useful as well.
By the way: Sorry, if a similar post already exists (I looked but did not find any - but I am new to using forums).
Thank you all.
