Yes, very much clear. Thank you!
I think that improved things a bit for me but I still see the spinner for a second or so for lots of actions in LibreOffice Writer

I had hoped that latest upgrade would solve things but it didnât change things at all. I am not sure what previous one was but I am pretty sure it was pretty new as I update whenever updates come along. For me this started a few weeks ago when I switched from running Kubuntu directly to running it in a VM (virtual manager). Host and VM are both Kubuntu 25.10, machine is a fairly powerful Tuxedo laptop: â16 x AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphicsâ with 64Gb RAM. VM has 8 CPU cores allcated and default 30,000 of RAM but was no better when I had allocated 12 cores annd 48,000 of RAM. This is definitely an issue with running in the VM as LO writer running in the host (on the same odt document) is fine. I guess I will open another issue somewhere making the specificity to the VM clearer but I thought I should report this here as I do think this
WAYLAND_DISPLAY=brol soffice # (brol is anything you want.)
did improve things a little but not suffficiently to make LO usable.
