Writer is crashing with ODF files. When converted to Word 2007, DOCX files do not crash.
A crash should be reported as bug, and please provide the file or way to reproduce. Without this the report would be quite useless…

To sort this out a bit more: I guess you have one/some files wich you can not save as .odt?

Can you create new Writer files, where you just type a bit, then save?

Crash means, window closes and LibreOffice has to be restarted? Or does the programm hangs and you have to kill it to continue?

Have you tested in “Safe-mode”?

And last: For bugs/crashes it is really important to name your OS (?) and the version of LibreOffice (done✅ ) In the current version your topic may ask for pity, but not for help…
