Libreoffice writer is not opening file at last edited page

I wonder why the writer is not opening the file at the last page I have been writing on ??
This feature is extremely useful for writers…
my file keeps opening at the first page and I am forced to keep scrolling to the last page.

When you installed LibreOffice, did you fill out the User data of your name? Go to Tools | Options | LibreOffice | User Data and check that first/last name details have been added.

wow thanks a lot roblyed. I did not imagine the issue had to do with that information. I have done, and now it opens at the latest edited page. Wonderful tip and thanks a lot for this help.
