LibreOffice Writer menubar broken

I am actively trying to replace proprietary software I use with free software alternatives, and the one I found for Microsoft Office and the Google Workspace is LibreOffice. However, there is this weird kink in LibreOffice Writer that annoys me a lot. Most of the options in the menubar, when I click it, it shows the context menu and then closes it instantly before I get a chance to select something.

Here is my version information, if that helps:
Version: 26.2.6.1 (X86_64)
Build ID: 620(Build:1)
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 7.2; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

To be more specific, I am running Fedora 44, with LibreOffice running as a flatpak.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Might be mouse click bounce, try with the trackpad or another mouse.
.

If you press Alt+F, the File menu should open, you can navigate it using the arrow keys; does it stay open until another key is pressed or the mouse clicked?
