I am new to LibreOffice; loaded up Writer on MacBook Pro 2018 running latest version of Mojave (with lots of memory and fast processor). 2 very simple pages of text or 30 simple pages…no matter the size it just won’t scroll properly. Happens in multi-page as well as single page view. Tons of lagtime while using wheel on mouse as well as touchpad on Mac. Unusable like it is. Not sure what to do. Can’t seem to find any answers for this. Please help…Thanks
Some people have reported issues if the mouse middle button is set to Paste Clipboard in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > View > Mouse > Middle Button.
Hmm, thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately that particular situation didn’t apply to me. Seems like I’d not be one of the few with this scrolling issue, so not sure what’s really going on or why there’s not more knowledge out there on the matter. Scrolling works well in every other non-Libre app on my system, including Word, which I am trying to get away from but will have to use if I can’t get Libre Writer to work properly. If anyone has any thoughts I’d be very grateful
