Librewriter 6.1.5.2 not auto saving versions

Hello

I can manually save File Versions by clicking the dialog box: ‘Save New Version’
But auto-saving via clicking the dialog ‘Always save versions on closing’ has no effect.

LO: 6.1.5.2
Build ID: 1:6.1.5-3+deb10u7

Any advice?

Have you saved manually before closing? Built-in help says no version is created on close if there are no modifications since last save.

Ah, I see. I was confused that by only closing LO, I get a prompt to Save the file, and that’s when a new Version is created. Where if I manually saved before closing, no new Version is created.
