I am creating a Writer document which contains many sections linked to a “depository” file containing the content. The two files are in the same folder. The content is also defined in sections.
I link the document sections to the “depository” file, specifying which of the “depository” sections is to be used to populate the document section.
When I move the populated document to a different folder to the one containing the “depository” file, and click on “update the links”, every section is empty. On investigation this is because the path to the “depository” file has been changed to include the new folder.
I know I can just say no to updating the links, but is there a way of ensuring the path to the “depository” file does not change?
Thanks
