LO Calc on a Mac doesn't have Options menu?

Trying to help a friend running LO 7.4.3.2 on a Mac. They are trying to change Macro Security settings, but in the Tools menu, they said there is no “options” ???

On my PC version you can also access the Options menu by pressing Alt-F12, but since there is no Alt key on a Mac, they said no combination of keys + F12 brought up the Options window.

Can anyone offer some insight here?

Thank for the suggestion. To clarify: they’ll find the " LibreOffice → Preferences " menu in the same place they find the Tools menu?

Or, is there a Mac shortcut key to reach the Options menu, as there is on PC?

No. MacOS has Guidelines, how Software should look on MacOS. So Tools>options is found where a learned user of MacOS would expect it (according to people who designed this back in the last century). And therefore options is also renamed to preferences.
