LO Extensions: Can’t open Extension in New Tab

(I added the “common” tag because there isn’t one specifically fitting my request. If AskLO is not the proper place to post this, please tell me where I could request this feature)

When visiting the LO Extensions website (https://extensions.libreoffice.org/), an extension cannot be opened as a new tabe using Right Click → Open in New Tab or Ctrl + Left Click. This seems to be because of the inner workings of the website, as the link doesn’t show up in the bottom left-hand corner of the browser as one would expect.

I imagine that users of the website would like to have the webpages of multiple extensions open without having to resort to measures like clicking on the extension, cloning the tab, and then clicking Back on the original tab every time. Frankly, I don’t know anything about creating a website, but as most sites of similar nature (e. g. AOO extensions) do work this way and I don’t see any real downside to the website working that way, I do think it should be implemented.

(1) Thanks for redirecting me to Redmine, and (2) I just discovered that, as Task #3675: Open links in new tab - Extensions - The Document Foundation Redmine and you state, opening an extension in a new tab through Ctrl + Left Click actually works. I must’ve been mistaken.
