Hi everyone,
I administer a group of Ubuntu 16.04 based netboot machines that pulls from a netboot image from a server. I would like to update LO from 5.0 in the image to 6.0. I did that by turning on a VM with the base image, added LO PPA repository, then apt-get install libreoffice. It works fine when LO runs in the VM. However, when I convert it to the netboot, the resulting netboot environment won’t run LO. The error message are as follows when I run from the terminal:

I tried renaming the personal profile folder located at /home/user/.config/libreoffice
I also tried running it in safe mode.
Anyone with any idea why it works in VM but not in netboot? The only difference (I believe) is that in netboot the program folder becomes read-only.
