LO Impress just not letting me upload videos

Hi everyone. I’m as newb as a newbie can get when it comes to Libre. I downloaded it last week. I use Power Point a lot and I can see MP4 videos don’t seem to work in Impress. I’ve read that much on the forum but I have bought the newest of new laptops with Windows 11 (MSI Raider 18 HX AI (A2X) - 18" 4K 120Hz, Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5080, 64GB/4TB - Win 11 Pro Gaming Notebook) and I can’t seem to find anything about how to make it work on this.

I am really out of my depth here…if anyone can say “download this” and “ensure your videos are xyz format” I would really appreciate it.

Hi. I had read this but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to talk about Windows 11. I’ve got that page bookmarked already but DirectShow isn’t used on W11 and I could find out how to install it as it is a legacy product.

As I said, I’ve been scouring the forum but I’m either not clever enough to understand or there isn’t any info for Window 11/my laptop.

The standard K-Lite codec pack works for me
