LOv7.2.5.2 on Linux eOS.
I have a custom colour palette but can’t find it. My original goal was to edit my *.SOC file manually for adding a single colour swatch. I worked around my failure using Draw to edit the palette with the drawn object graphic interface, in the end also renaming and reordering existing swatches. Following the edit, the custom palette appears correct in Writer.
I found my user profile at the help-recommended location:
/home/<user name>/.config/libreoffice/4/user
Within Writer, Tools/Options…/Libreoffice/Paths
concurs with that location and displays a variety of working paths, although none an explicit colour palette.
If I use my file manager to search for an *.SOC file, I find only one with the correct palette name in:
/home/<user name>/.config/libreoffice/4/user/config
However, that file doesn’t contain correct data; my new workaround edits are missing.
Is the LO custom palette located through some other means? It’s confusing that searching my file system only turns up a single result and in the correct path, suggesting my edits are retained within another file even though I’m obviously editing my custom palette within the program. In the big picture, this relates to backing up my LO profile and what exactly I’m backing up.
