So I have created huge complex spreadsheets in Lotus 123 and Excel. One function I used in excel was a filter that would extract, say! “ Everything sold in January” or “everything sold by a certain salesman in a specific year!” From data on a sheet in my workbook. In most cases the functions in Libre calc and excel are pretty close however, I can’t seem to find a function in Libre to duplicate this result. The data I am looking through is quite small so I didn’t want to create and query a data base for this information. Does anyone know of a workaround or function in calc i could use?
Standard or advanced filters or subtotals, or a dynamic table should be sufficient. But without seeing your data and seeing what you really want is complicated to help you.
