I am a 79yo ,with no tech knowledge & have been building a spreadsheet with the help of Copilot. Somehow I have caused script.xlb or script.xlc to no longer function.I have tried with Copilot help to get these working again but they seem to have disappeared from my computer. I was progressing very well with my spreadsheet which is really quite complicated . Now I do not know if I can save it or just give up. Any help will greatly appreciated. Thank You.
References are found for Excel, not Calc. So are you really using LibreOffice?
Saving is usually a good idea. Use SaveAs and new filenames , if you don’t trust your system. If you “can’t save” you are in trouble.
You may check the recent files to find out, if you used a different filename.
You can also use Windows-explorer (? Guessing because of Copilot) to search for the file. Ther is a search box in the upper right part of the Explorer-Windows.
PS:
Even, if it may be to late this time. Learn of it. When developing new stuff, save often. I create snapshots for most “working” steps, so I can go back easily. (Note: We have not only Save and SaveAs, but also “Save a copy” in the menu.
