ALT+I+L used to insert a horizontal line into the text.
How do I insert a horizontal line - as a break - into the text?
Will I have to install an older version … as I had to do before, when a shortcut was removed from LO?

What exactly do you mean?

Ctrl + Y = horizontal line
Why was it moved? Maybe to justify a job. Moving it just to look like something is being done!

Because it has always been a paragraph style.
