Missing Text Shading Feature from LibreOffice

Requesting to add Shading Tools like MS Word. Its very difficult to me making documents.

Just use the Styles: the paragraph styles, character styles, and set the font shading, or the paragraph shading, or the character shading properties of the applied styles.

To create it like you example you need to do it in a paragraph style (or just Paragraph if you like doing extra work each time). Character style will apply the highlight to only the text, not the full line.
.
Help has this, Area tab
.
As you are using it as a heading, then in the sidebar in paragraph styles, you should select the relevant level of heading, e.g. Heading 3.then right click it and select Edit style

  • Click the Area tab, click the Colour button and select a suitable colour
  • Click the Alignment tab and select Centre
  • If necessary, select the Font tab and set the size (not the font face which should be set in Heading style so all Headings inherit it)
  • Click OK

Now every time, in that document, you need to apply that heading, just type the text and press Ctrl+3 (or double click Heading 3 in the Styles pane of the sidebar)
