Moving a watermark

Hi, Great program!

Is it possible to move a watermark to a position on the page or say make it smaller? Mac OS 12.7.1 DOCX

I assume you created your watermark with Format>Watermark. The wizard inserted a drawing object (a text box) and applied default properties to it. To edit it, display the Navigator in the side pane (either click on the compass icon or F5).

1. expand the Drawing Objects section
2. double-click on the name corresponding to the watermark (something like PowerPlusWatermarkObject) to select it
3. right-click on it to pop-up the contextual menu
   • Position & Size controls the overall size of the box (text will be scaled inside this box), the position within the page and the angle
   • Line controls the border of the letters (the watermark is not composed of a text but of a sequence of shapes looking like letters; consequently you can define borders for these shapes; these are “lines”)
   • Area controls the contents of the letter-like shapes, i.e. colour

Don’t modify the other properties.
