Moving from 7.2 to 25.2.3.2 F1 Help not working

This is also true in writer.
Raspberry PI running Debian trixie and LO 25.2.3.2, F1 does nothing. In Tools/Customize/Keyboard there is nothing connected to F1.
I have these packages installed:
liblibreoffice-java 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-base-core 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-calc 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-common 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-core 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-help-common 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-help-en-us 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-style-colibre 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-uiconfig-calc 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-uiconfig-common 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-uiconfig-writer 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2
libreoffice-writer 4:25.2.3-2+deb13u2

in Firefox I can open /usr/share/libreoffice/help/index.html.
How do I connect that to F1 in calc and writer?
Thanks and Happy New Year,
Mike

is it your default browser ?

Yes
FF 140.6.0esr (aarch64)
In about:preferences:
Firefox is currently your default browser

does it work from a file manager ?

you can also try strace -f -e access soffice to get an idea of what is called under the hood.

Not sure what you mean by ‘file manager’ unless it is mc (Midnight Commander) and I don’t run calc or writer from there.
However your strace suggestion paid off.
After installing these packages help now opens:
libreoffice-java-common, openjdk-21-jre, xdg-utils.
This also cured the problem I was having that a link in the spreadseet to finance.yahoo.com wasn’t working.
I find it curious that those packages are nor requird by LO.
Thanks a lot fpy and I hope this new year treats you well,
Mike

question is the other way round : could it run FF ?

this was likely the blocker.
