Multiple indent levels in the same text box

Hi guys,
I’m writing up a bibliography in Libre Draw, and it needs to be APA7. APA7 requires that when a single entry in a bibliography covers multiple lines, lines after the first must have an indent of 5 spaces. When I go into the style settings, I can find options for adding indentations to the first line of a paragraph, but not vice versa - is there a way to do this?
I have tried adding a negative indent to the first line option, but it just corrects it to 0.

Any advice much appreciated

Draw is not a document processor; it is intended to create diagrams. Don’t expect too much from its rudimentary labelling feature

If you need sophisticated forlatting and layout, work with Writer. Paragraph styles in Writer offer hanging indent: just make first line indent negative (as you tried in vain in Draw).

And it is possible you find templates in the LO extension library already configured for APA7.

Thanks for the reply
I’m somewhat new to libre office and had assumed Draw was its equivalent to publisher

Not at all. There is no equivalent to Publisher in LO. Publisher is desktop-oriented (i.e. you create and manage a collection of pages). Writer is a competitor to Word, i.e. flow-oriented (you manage a text and the program takes care for its division into pages).

Thanks for clearing that up.

Do you have any recommendations for free to use alternatives to publisher?
Thanks

If your goal is to compose page-oriented documents, look at Scribus.

But if you want to build a bibliography, use Writer. It has very versatile formatting possibilities without the hassle to lay out page structure (though you can simulate it but as a beginner, I wouldn’t recommend to start with that kind of document). Writer also has a bibliography feature (it is an internal database), but I am not sure you can easily format the result as APA7. Rendering the bibliography entries offers many many configurations but I am not familiar enough with APA7 to evaluate the ease or difficulty of the task.

I need to write a page oriented document with a bibliography, so I’ll check out Scribus
Thanks again for the suggestions
