Multiple page orientation in Calc Version 25.2

I want the first page to be portrait and the second page to be landscape. The Libre Office Calc help says it’s for 25.8. I have 25.2, and Help tab says I’m up to date.

I’ve created a custom style ‘My Landscape’ and one for ‘My Portrait’ (based on the Help instructions). At the top, with my cursor in the upper left cell, I change the page style to My Portrait.

I manually enter a page break, using Sheet-Insert Page Break- Row. The instructions say to use Insert-More Breaks-Manual Page Break, but my menu doesn’t show that.

The instructions say to use the dropdown box for Page Styles. The only way I can find to do that is either from View-Styles-PageStyle-Custom, or from Styles-ManageStyles, Custom. Either way gets me to the same dropdown. I click on My Landscape.

But when I go to Print Preview, the entire thing is in Landscape, including the first page that I wanted in Portrait.

I have tried changing to Landscape immediately before the break, and also tried it immediately after the break. Neither way works.

What am I doing wrong?

By what I know, it is possible to set different page style in different tabs (Sheet1, Sheet2, etc.).

yeah, that’s what I ended up doing. I guess you can’t do what the 25.8 Help said to do, in version 25.2.

Can you share the link to these page? Maybe there is a wrong wording there. Could it be here: Page Properties?

define page layouts for single and multiple-page documents

I can’t find any change for Calc page styles in the 25.8 releases info.

This is what I was looking at.

That link is for Writer, not Calc… wonder if that is the issue.

In Calc, I’ve printed multiple tabs at once that require different orientations.

duh. didn’t notice that it was for Writer. Thanks for pointing that out. I feel so stupid.
