The preview looks good but the printed document is shifted to the lower left. I can’t seem to do anything to fix it. I’m using Libre Office : 5.3.4.2 I see there is an update and don’t know if that will help

The most likely reason is that the document’s page size is set to ISO A4, but the printer is loaded with US Letter size sheets (8 1/2" x 11").
Most printers I have in our network will by default ignore A4/Letter size mismatch, which makes sense because with common margin settings, all content will still be printed on the paper. It just looks a little off.
Solution (if A4/letter mismatch is the reason):
Make sure that page size in your document fits the paper you are using. Menu Format - Page
my printer is set to 8/12 x 11 and my document is formatted to same size. I have been printing these for a couple of years. The hp printer just pulls the card size into the middle of the tray so still technically 8 x 11
