Need to recover Libreoffice calc

Hi,

recently i have lost an important report contains very much valuable data. when i was working, the system got restarted continuously and i was unable to login properly for sometime. every time after rebooting, libra office was asking to recover my .ods file and i saved my work, it again restarted. But this time when i opens the file it shows libra office icon but not opening. How do i roll back to old form. or how do i recover the data in it?

User has to Recover File upon opening each morning

We have a user that upon opening documents in the morning she has to recover even after properly saving and shutting down the Libre Office Suite. Specifically when working with spreadsheets. She is using .xls format in order to communicate to outside vendors.
