Negative numbers not appearing in red in calc 7.3.2.2

here is the number setting I am using that worked until I upgraded to 7.3.2.2:
#,##0.000 ;[RED](#,##0.000)

The only thing that changed was the upgrade to 7.3.2.2

What about Ctrl+F8 or View - Value Highlighting?

Just tried both, no change. I think it is a bug in the software. Thanks for the info to try.

No, I checked

It’s something with your system settings, with your document, or with a corrupted user profile.

John,

I have that selected for the cell and it does not show up in red and did before the upgrade to 7.3.2.2. Nothing else has changed on the computer, no Windows updates, virus and malware just got done running - all clean. Will try reinstalling 7.3.2.2 and see what happens.

The experience of using the office suite shows that in most cases, reinstallation does not fix the error. Better create a new sample file, enter some numbers, format it, make sure the error is present, and add this sample file to your next comment.

John,

Trying to take screen shot, ended up restarting in safe mode and numbers now appear in red. Went back to regular mode and numbers do not appear in red. I have attached the sample file.

Excellent result! This means that you have almost found the source of the error - your user profile. Kindly read this - LibreOffice user profile and you will be able to see your numbers as intended.

By the way, your error file does not contain, here is the proof:
RedNumber2

John,

Thank you for your help. Renamed old profile and created a new one and negative colors come up in red now.

Have been going out of my mind trying to find the problem

Again, thank you for your help.
