I want to install the newest version for my Debian 11 but after removing previous versions, I cannot get LB to start. I had download the .deb version before, 24.8 and it was working fine.
I am not sure how to start LO em safe mode. When I type “libreoffice” in its directory, it says that the command is “command not found”.
I can see LB listed in the Applications menu, but none of the apps open.
Any help is welcome. Thank you. Thelma
What’s wrong with version 24.8? Just keep it if it was working fine.
Well, whatever “its directory is”: libreoffice [TAB] in any directory should find the installed executable.
/opt/libreoffice26.2/program/soffice starts version 26.2.
