New version of LibreOffice Only Opens in Safe Mode

Greetings! So I installed the new version of LibreOffice on my Windows 10 laptop. Version 6 worked. Version 22 does not open. It does not even appear in my list of processes or apps in task manager.(!?!???) I get the little Tron-thinking-spinning discuss for a second, then nothing.

I can open it in Safe Mode, and I have tried the various options to fix. I have even uninstalled then reinstalled. Still nothing.

Has anyone run into this, or has an idea how to fix?

In the Safe mode window, clean the profile.

This leaves your profile unchanged (to be re-used after updates). So problems with the profile will not vanish.

Before crating a new profile I recommend to do a backup. (For Windows: Profiles are hidden in %APPDATA%
